A new place in Adelaide’s South in which to live, learn and innovate.
The site at 10 Selgar Avenue, Tonsley was chosen in 2014 as the new home of ACURA Group, precisely because of it’s proximity to the Tonsley Innovation District, SA’s leading hub for research and education. It also features a new residential development called “Tonsley Village“ - where 850 new homes are being created.
Just up the road there is another landmark development in the pipeline, transforming Adelaide’s south.
The $1.5 billion “Flinders Village” underpins the growth of Flinders University, merging uni life with wider mixed use community spaces, including;
• World class health research facility including teaching and clinical research spaces
• Expanded student residential offering with the creation of “Flinders Village“
• Entertainment, retail and food facilities, and Flinders Square.
“Flinders Village“ is helped and supported by the $125 million Flinders Link Rail Project which extends the existing Tonsley passenger rail line another 650 m to the Flinders Medical Centre.
Around 1000 construction jobs are expected to be created over the decade long build, which will include a dozen or more student accommodation buildings, health and medical research building, retail centre and a footbridge over University Drive connecting the village centre with student accommodation.
